Our Process
Free estimate
One of our certified team members will contact you to arrange a consultation. This can be completed in person or remotely. We will inspect the area to be completed, discuss your goals and present samples and ideas that will put us the path to a successful result.
Preparation
This begins once we have agreed on wants and needs of the project. If required, we will present customized samples, discuss the timing and scope of the project, and set a time and date for installation.
Installation
Once on site, we will take every precaution to protect the surrounding areas and answer any last minute questions or concerns. We will then begin the process by thoroughly prepping the area, followed by the application of the selected system. Installation times will vary by system, but we will end each day with the goal of minimum disruption by cleaning and organizing our work area.
Customer Satisfaction
In most instances, we do not ask for money down. Once the work is completed, we will follow up to ensure that everything has met or exceeded your expectations. When that has been confirmed, you will be receive an invoice along with our gratitude for entrusting your project to Showroom Floors.
Maintaining your floor
- for most floors, including garages, you can walk on it the next day. We recommend that you do not park or drive on it for at least 48 hours after completion. In most cases, cleaning is simple. Start with warm water, add a mild diluted cleanser with no grit (ex Simple Green) if dirt/grease is present. We find that a bristle broom and a hose will easily maintain a garage floor if treated regularly. For stubborn stains, we have had success with Krud Kutter, available at most big box stores. A power washer with a 40 degree fan can be used on most surfaces. If mopping, it is highly important to use a clean and a waste bucket, or, change water frequently.
