In short, we CAN do one-day floors. We have the technology, we just prefer another way. We are a TWO-DAY installer. The reason is simple: like all reputable installers, we take great care to prepare the concrete for the installation of the new coatings. We do this in order to create porosity in the surface, thus providing pathways for the primer coat to “soak in”. This preparation provides two options: (1) apply a fast-drying coating to complete two coats in one day, or (2) apply a slower-drying epoxy primer that seeps deep into the concrete’s pores as it cures. We choose option 2 for its unmatched durability. While one-day floors are convenient, we believe our two-day method delivers a better, longer-lasting result. “Laying it on thick since 2006” is more than a slogan - it is our time-tested commitment to delivering a durable floor you can rely on. Some advertisements may criticize epoxy in favor of other coatings, but we find these claims overstated. While we use epoxy as our preferred primer for its deep penetration, we also apply a high-quality polyaspartic topcoat, a standard in the industry, to complete our robust system. Yes, we offer a variety of low-odor, eco-friendly flooring options.

Cure times vary depending on temperature and other factors, but as a general rule, you can walk on your floor the day after completion and drive or park on it after 48 hours.

Tire staining is one of the few issues we encounter post-installation. The polyaspartic topcoats we use on our garage floors are highly durable, but stains can still occur. Modern high-performance tires contain plasticizers that enhance rubber flexibility. When heated, these plasticizers can migrate from the tire into the clear coating, causing stains. While this is rare, it can happen. To prevent staining, monitor your floor and clean any marks immediately with appropriate cleaners. Although tire staining is not covered under our warranty, please contact us for guidance at the first sign of staining.
